Predstava Arija v humornem slogu radijskega intervjuja spregovori o nevarnosti pohlepa in nacionalizma, o nesmislu terorizma ter zastavlja vprašanje, kje so meje medijske manipulacije.
Using the humorous style of a radio interview, Aria speaks about the danger of greed and nationalism, the meaninglessness of terrorism and questions the limits of media manipulation.
Aria was presented as a reading performance within the frame of the PreGlej twelve mini dramas; as a radio drama in December 2007 on the Ars programme (the third programme of Radio Slovenia); and it opened in April 2008 at the Herceg Novi Theatre (Monte Negro and a year later at a fringe theatre in London, one of those where the artists (“still” dare to take risks). There, new texts are born with authors and actors that explore the edges of their profession. In May 2008 Aria received the UNESCO second special prize “Peace and Friendship among Nations” at the world festival of radio dramas in Esfahan, Iran.
Clever, utterly hilarious, one to watch.
